Tim Holt must prove his innocence after being framed for a murder he didn't commit. When an angry mob threatens to lynch him, the sheriff finds evidence of men wire-tapping in the hills and realizes the real culprits are outlaws planning to steal a gold shipment via stagecoach. Tim devises a plan to catch the gang by positioning men to ambush them, and through a series of confrontations and revelations involving a mysterious woman and a pouch left by someone's deceased father, the true criminals are exposed and justice is served.
