Armed only with determination and cunning, they navigate the Painted Desert to reach the hidden pueblo town and reclaim ammunition from the outlaws' own stores.

When cattle rustlers adopt a sinister disguise as the Headless Horsemen to cover their tracks, the Ghost Rider—Federal Marshal Rex Fury in his spectral guise—sets a trap to expose the gang and their true leader, Simon Palover. With a mix of cunning, improvised tactics, and his mysterious abilities, the Ghost Rider closes in on the criminals before one final confrontation in Quicksand Canyon tests his resolve.

Deputy Sheriff Tim Holt pursues the wild stallion Sun Dance across the Arizona badlands, but his efforts to capture the bronc are complicated when gunman Stu Jonnard tries to shoot the horse down—forcing Tim to intervene and make a dangerous enemy.
