This issue contains three Western stories. In "Flight from a Fight," Bucky O'Hara, who has a reputation for running from conflict, finally stands up to Tim Holt and accepts his offer to help settle Bucky's troubles. "The Ghost Rider" tells of a spectral figure haunting an old castle near Silver City, with the Ghost Rider keeping a rendezvous there involving "the murdering medium." In "Terror's Theatre," when fire sweeps a theater's main street during a performance, actresses face death, and the Red Mask stages his own performance to hunt down desperadoes and killers acting viciously; meanwhile, Old Mossyhorn, the lead steer on Tim Holt's T-Bar-H ranch, erupts with fury when a gold and black stage from Cactus Valley Swings crosses the T-Bar-H grazeland.

When a frame-up threatens to drag Bucky back into his outlaw past, Tim believes in him enough to stake his badge on it, but only if Bucky can prove he's truly reformed. Now freed from that promise at last, Bucky discovers what it means to finally stand and fight for something that matters.

The Ghost Rider [Federal Marshal Rex Fury]Gabbino (bandit)

As federal marshal Rex Fury navigates the mansion's deadly rooms and hidden mechanisms, he must unmask the killer before Gabbino's own supernatural schemes trap them both in the castle's dark secrets.

Terror's Theatre
7 pp · Western-Frontier

A classic frontier tale of justice outmaneuvering greed in this 1951 adventure.
