Tim Holt faces a magician named Chito who is being used as a front for a criminal operation at the opera house. When Tim attends Chito's magic performance, he discovers the magician is part of a gang stealing from the casino. After a confrontation, the criminals attempt to escape, but Tim pursues them and thwarts their getaway. Tim then rests at a ranch where he encounters a wild bronco named "Forgetful" that the ranch hands are preparing for an upcoming rodeo.
