This issue is an anthology containing three Western stories. "Blanket of the Navajos" follows Tim and Chito as they prepare desperate defenses against Stark's riders attacking their ranch, ultimately using accurate shooting to repel the assault and discovering that a woman thought murdered has left evidence implicating Stark. "Crime's Pony Express" depicts Tim discovering his companion Chito injured in the desert and following tracks across the flats to a campfire, where he uncovers a secret hideout by the Bosque Rio and helps drag cattle-laden boats upriver. "The Masks of Massacre Bend" shows masked raiders planning to return to Massacre Bend to observe disappearing cattle, leading Tim to discover their secret operations.
