The cover's bold headline — "Lion-O's Gone Mad!" — sets a dramatic, urgent tone that perfectly complements the kinetic artwork by Tom Morgan and Joe Sinnott. Inside, Gerry Conway pens "The Price of Pride," promising a story as charged as the confrontation playing out right on the cover.
