Thunderbolts #58 brings writer Fabian Nicieza and cover artist Patrick Zircher (inked by Al Vey) together for "Degrees of Evil," a chapter that crackles with the kind of high-voltage tension this series does so well. The cover plunges you right into the action: a heavily armored, rocket-boosted figure dominates the center, diving hard through a storm of lightning and energy, while a fiery molten figure erupts below and a white-and-gold costumed hero streaks upward to meet the chaos. Hawkeye and another character peer out from the corner inset, hinting at the wider cast caught up in whatever storm is breaking loose in 2002's most morally complicated corner of the Marvel Universe.
