Thunderbolts #110

Spinning directly out of the pages of Civil War, Thunderbolts #110 launches Warren Ellis and Mike Deodato Jr.'s run with "Faith in Monsters, Part 1" — and Marko Djurdjević's cover sets the tone perfectly. A white-and-pink-haired woman grips a blade at center, flanked by a fearsome assembly: a heavily armored spiked figure, the toothy, symbiote-grinning visage of Venom, a snarling beast-like face, and a red-suited cyclops-masked figure lunging in the foreground. This is a team that radiates danger rather than reassurance, and Ellis and Deodato Jr. look poised to make the most of it.
