Dynamite's 2026 series rolls on with issue four, and this cover captures the trio at their most defiant — Thundarr brandishing his crackling Sunsword, the lion-like Ookla snarling beside him, and Princess Ariel poised and ready as an enormous, glowing green monster looms over the ruined cityscape behind them. It's a vivid, energetic composition that feels true to the spirit of the beloved animated property while giving it a fresh edge. Jason Aaron and artist Baal are clearly having a great time bringing this post-apocalyptic world back to life.
