This fourteenth issue of Image's Throwaways sports a cover that doubles as campaign propaganda — a broadly grinning man's face, rendered in the style of a worn political poster, beneath the bold command "VOTE STARK." The deliberately unsettling smile and faded, crumpled texture give the image an eerie undertone that suggests all is not quite right with this particular candidate. Kittredge, Sanders, and Wands deliver a striking, deceptively simple design that says plenty without showing much at all.
