“The Man Who Regained His Soul”

In "The Man Who Regained His Soul," adventurer Dane Hunter scoffs at Pantha for daring to hunt the giant gorilla M'gana in Africa, calling her 'frail'—only moments later, she saves him from a python’s grasp. When M'gana is captured by John Monsoon, the beast breaks free and goes on a rampage, forcing Pantha to defend herself with a deadly green mamba, driving him off in a moment of raw instinct. Ralph Mayo’s dynamic art brings the jungle peril to life, while Alex Schomburg’s cover captures the tension of the wild with striking detail.
