After an absence of some issues, Professor Fenton, formerly a 'harmless' and rather impotent crook who constantly tried (and always failed) to take financial advantage of the timeline, is now shown to be a Fifth Columnist, working for the Nazis (admittedly for a fee of ten millions dollars).
