This anthology issue features the Commando Cubs in action against enemy forces. In one story, Doc Strange receives a mysterious package from the Orakim radio company containing radio sets intended for various national leaders to aid the war effort, but discovers an invisible force holding him rigid. In another story, the Commando Cubs follow their member Tubby, who has been trapped by a girl, and must rescue him from a Japanese patrol; the boys engage enemy soldiers and ultimately call in Marine reinforcements to complete their mission. A third story involves the Ace pilot Hedwig test-flying the ME-X2 aircraft and engaging in aerial combat with Nazi bombers, successfully proving the new plane's capabilities against enemy forces.
