“Down Time, Part Six: A-One and A-Two”

DC's Thriller was one of the more daring series of 1984, and issue #6 delivers a cover that pulls no punches. Trevor Von Eeden's art places a tense gunman front and center, revolver leveled toward the reader, while a massive, unsettling face looms through a crumbling wall behind him — all anchored by that single, sharp word balloon: "DRAW!" It's a striking composition that captures the series' edgy, street-level tension perfectly.
