“92 (degrees)”

In "92 (degrees)," the Crew in Bugtown grapples with the aftermath of Ron’s failed kidnapping attempt, as a mysterious security robot intervenes and changes everything. With Boche delivering a series of strange, bomb-laden packages and the crew dealing with a new, unsettling version of Mary Allen, tensions rise in this surreal, offbeat installment. Written and illustrated entirely by Matt Howarth, the issue blends dark humor and bizarre twists, with a cover by Howarth that captures the story’s unsettling tone.

Waiting outside of a factory in Tinder City, Ron tries to kidnap Mary Allen, but due to the efforts of a large security robot, ends up shooting her instead. Returning to Bugtown, the Crew is annoyed to find Ron bringing back only a large piece of Mary. Later, Boche delivers a large bomb disguised as a broken air conditioner to a repair shop and continues on to deliver more. Later still, as Russ and Boche fish for large monsterous eels, Ron returns with another Mary. Boche introduces her to his twin cattle prods, Alain and Luc, while Mary escapes by falling to her death.
