Thorgal album #15 brings Jean Van Hamme and Grzegorz Rosiński's beloved Viking-fantasy series to "De meester van de bergen" — "The Master of the Mountains." Rosiński's cover art is quietly stunning: a lone figure in a vivid red cape stands small against a vast, snow-swept mountainside, while an enormous, ghostly face looms from the blizzard behind them, suggesting something ancient and elemental at work. Published by Le Lombard in 1989, this Dutch-language edition is a fine example of the series at the height of its atmospheric, myth-drenched storytelling.
