This third issue of Marvel's 2015 Thor series carries a striking cover by Russell Dauterman and Matthew Wilson that's as elegant as it is unsettling — a figure reeling in agony amid a cascade of shattered ice fragments, with Mjolnir tumbling weightlessly at the center of the chaos. The cool, ethereal palette of blues and whites gives the whole image an otherworldly, almost ghostly quality that perfectly suits a story titled "When The Ice Lords Make War."
