Thor #241
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom November 1975, this issue of The Mighty Thor presents a cover by Jack Kirby and Frank Giacoia that crackles with cosmic energy — Thor, red cape billowing and Mjolnir swinging, crashes through a horde of skeletal warriors as bones and blades scatter in every direction. The cover copy promises "The God of Thunder Shall Triumph Over All!" and teases a story titled "When Death Sails the Stars," setting up a suitably grand clash between the Asgardian and forces that look freshly risen from the grave. With interior work from Bill Mantlo, John Buscema, and Joe Sinnott, this is a fine example of mid-'70s Marvel firing on all cylinders.
