They're Not Like Us #7 — subtitled "Strip It Down" — arrives with one of the more quietly unsettling covers of 2015: Simon Gane renders a weathered urban house in careful, lived-in detail, bare winter branches clawing around its brick and wood exterior while a small speech balloon floats overhead reading "Wow, I can't believe it's already been a month." That understated moment of reflection, colored with Jordie Bellaire's muted, earthy palette, sets a contemplative and slightly uneasy tone that feels very much at home in Eric Stephenson's series about people who are decidedly different from the rest of us.
