The third chapter of Eric Stephenson and Simon Gane's paranoid thriller carries the evocative subtitle "Heyday of the Blood," and Simon Gane's cover art makes that title feel visceral and immediate — a bloodied, blonde young woman shouts "AGAIN!" with raw defiance, her bruised face and clenched fists filling the frame with unmistakable intensity. Jordie Bellaire's warm, bruised color palette gives the image a fevered urgency that feels right at home in this mature-rated Image series. At $2.99, this 2015 installment is a compelling artifact of one of the more psychologically charged series the publisher was putting out at the time.
