This volume collects the first six issues of the series, introducing two parallel Earths: one a campy, Silver Age-style world where Dragonflyman fights villains with puns and bright costumes, and the other a grim, modern take where the same hero, Dragonfly, operates in a gritty, violent reality. When a freak accident swaps the two versions of the hero, each must navigate a world that is dangerously unfamiliar, leading to clashes of tone and morality. The collection sets up the core premise of the series, exploring how heroism and justice differ across these contrasting universes.
In "The Wrong Earth: Chapter One," the brightly clad hero Dragonflyman from Earth-Alpha and the brooding anti-hero Dragonfly from Earth-Omega find themselves swapped between their respective worlds, forced to navigate lives both familiar and alien. Written by Tom Peyer and brought to life with bold, expressive art by Jamal Igle—whose dynamic pencils and inks define the cover—this issue sets up a compelling clash of identities, with interior art by Igle, inks by Juan Castro, colors by Andy Troy, and letters by Rob Steen.
