Michael Dialynas's art and James Tynion IV's writing power this fourth installment of BOOM! Studios' survival series, with a cover by Ramón K. Pérez that plunges you straight into the dread — a vertiginous bird's-eye view of torch-bearing figures picking their way through ancient, root-choked ruins while massive, alien forms loom in the teal-shadowed darkness around them. The warm flicker of those flames against the oppressive cool of the unknown environment says everything about the precarious situation these characters find themselves in. If you've been following this series since 2014, this cover alone makes clear the expedition is getting deeper and more dangerous.
