Twenty-five issues in, James Tynion IV and Michael Dialynas continue to make The Woods one of BOOM! Studios' most atmospheric ongoing series. The cover depicts a lone, glowing figure — a young woman radiating golden-yellow light — walking away from us along a broad pathway toward a sprawling alien cityscape, its dark geometric ruins bathed in deep teal and emerald hues while luminous beams descend from a star-filled sky. It's a quietly arresting image, equal parts eerie and wondrous, that captures the series' signature tension between human vulnerability and the vast, unknowable world surrounding it.
