The Woods continues to deliver one of BOOM! Studios' most imaginatively layered sci-fi survival series, and issue #17's cover captures the sprawling scope perfectly. Michael Dialynas packs the image with converging threats — a terrified pale-haired figure gripped by a massive green creature in the foreground, a squad of armed soldiers looming behind them, a Roman-helmeted warrior alongside a warship and military vehicles, and a chaotic mid-air struggle between several figures balanced atop an enormous sword held by a horned beast.
