James Tynion IV and Michael Dialynas continue their survival series with this thirteenth issue from BOOM! Studios. The cover, rendered by Dialynas with colors by Josan Gonzalez, sets an eerie, otherworldly mood — a hooded young woman with a red-painted mask across her eyes stands warily in the foreground, blood-spattered and resolute, while behind her a figure with a bow watches a strange purple sky filled with twin red suns and a flock of crimson birds; a skull-faced silhouette lurks ominously in the distant shadows. That looming sense of alien wilderness and quiet dread is exactly what makes The Woods such a compelling read in 2015.
