The Witching Hour #74

DC's long-running horror anthology reaches issue #74 with a cover by Luis Dominguez that's equal parts unsettling and darkly playful — a terrified man is tangled in puppet strings alongside a wild cast of marionettes: a fanged tribal figure, a rotund clown in green, a blonde doll in polka dots, and a cackling witch lurking at the edge of the stage. The puppet-theater framing gives the whole scene a creepy carnival energy perfectly suited to the "It's Midnight… The Witching Hour!" banner. Inside, George Kashdan and Fred Carrillo deliver "A Tiny Bit of Torment" as one of the issue's three promised bewitching thrillers.
