The Wicked + The Divine #9 delivers one of the series' most arresting cover images: a masked, veiled figure rendered in cool grays and blues stares out with unsettling pink-glowing eyes, their lower face obscured by cascading strands of dark beads and an elaborately layered collar — regal, eerie, and deeply ambiguous. The title itself is mirrored and inverted across the figure's face, as if reality has been folded in half.
