The Wicked + The Divine #22

Issue 22 of The Wicked + The Divine presents one of the more unsettling covers of the series — a figure with pink hair and circular glasses is framed by massive, curling ram's horns, bathed in an overwhelming wash of amber and crimson while the lower half of the title logo appears inverted, as if the world itself has been turned upside down. The design by Jamie McKelvie, colored by Matt Wilson, feels genuinely disorienting in the best way, suggesting something has gone very, very wrong. With Kieron Gillen's script for "Necessity" waiting inside, this is the kind of issue that makes you flip it open immediately.
