From the team of Gillen, McKelvie, Wilson, and Cowles, the image is stark and deliberately unsettling: the series title mirrors itself upside-down around a central cross, while the lower half of the cover reveals a headless, blood-soaked figure, the neck a raw and dripping wound — all rendered against a cold grey field that makes the deep red feel visceral. It's a masterclass in doing more with less, and the story title "It Was Never Going to Be Okay" only deepens the dread this image already earns on its own.
