The main feature follows Wild Bill Pecos as he battles Chief Angry Son and his scalp-hungry injuns using his six-guns and quick wits. A secondary story depicts Sheriff Jim Taylor investigating a killing at the Gold Calf saloon, where he confronts Steve Hill over the death of Jeff Parker and ultimately uncovers the true killer through a clever trap. The issue also includes advertisements and mail-order offers interspersed throughout, typical of Golden Age comic book back matter.
