The Web #3
In "Spinning the Future Part 3," the Web finds himself at a crossroads when Batgirl crashes into his headquarters—just as Oracle prepares to shut him down. Instead of ending his operation, the Web strikes a surprising alliance with Oracle, using her social engineering program to track down Dr. Archer, while also trying to win over his own "Web Hosts" to a new, more altruistic vision. Written by Angela Robinson and illustrated by Roger Robinson, with inks by Hilary Barta and Walden Wong, colors by Guy Major, and letters by Travis Lanham, the issue blends high-stakes strategy with a shifting moral center. The cover, by Stanley "Artgerm" Lau, captures the tension in a sleek, dynamic pose.

Batgirl crashes into the Web's headquarters as Oracle intends to shut him down. Instead, the Web and Oracle strike a business deal and he continues his operations. He does have a meeting with his "Web Hosts" -- footsoldiers given power suits like his -- and persuades some of them to come over to his way of thinking of the common good. Using a social engineering web-based program given to him by Oracle, the Web locates Dr. Archer and takes him down.
