The Walking Dead Deluxe #62

The cover of this Deluxe edition sets a tense, watchful tone: two shadowy figures crouch in the foreground undergrowth, one visibly armed with a rifle, their attention fixed on a group of people gathered around large military-style trucks on a sunlit road ahead. It's a beautifully composed piece of unease from cover artists David Finch, with Dave McCaig's colors deepening the contrast between the dark, concealed hunters and the unwitting figures in the open. "Fear the Hunters" kicks off its five-part run here, and Robert Kirkman, Charlie Adlard, and the rest of the creative team promise the kind of slow-burn dread this series does so well.
