The Enchantress dominates this ninth chapter of the twelve-issue limited series, draped languidly across a chaise in her green costume while candles flicker on either side — a villain very much in command of the scene. Spread before her on the table are tarot-style cards bearing the faces of the Scarlet Witch, the Vision, Glamor, and Illusion, the tagline "Slaves of the Enchantress!" making her intentions unmistakably clear. Richard Howell and PCR deliver a cover with real menace wrapped in an almost theatrical elegance, a fine entry in this 1986 Marvel series.
