The Vision and the Scarlet Witch #7
In "Batteries Not Included!", the Vision seeks deeper understanding of his humanity by consulting Captain America and Namor about the original Human Torch—only to find himself drawn into a new threat when the Mastermind robot he defeated unexpectedly unleashes its master, the Toad. As the Toad renews his obsession with the Scarlet Witch, Vision must confront both old memories and new dangers, while Wanda teaches Holly the basics of witchcraft—just as a startling moment between Crystal and Norm Webster leaves Holly stunned. Written by Steve Englehart and brought to life by Richard Howell’s dynamic art, with inks by Frank Springer and colors by Adam Philips, this 1986 issue captures the emotional and chaotic heart of the Vision and the Scarlet Witch’s evolving story. The cover, by Richard Howell and Frank Springer, perfectly frames the tension of the moment.
