The Traveler #5

From Boom! Studios' 2011 collaboration between Stan Lee, Mark Waid, and Tom Peyer, this fifth issue of The Traveler announces itself with a striking cover by Scott Clark and Dave Beaty — the dark-clad, blue-skinned hero lunging forward through a shadowy alley, cloak billowing behind him and one gloved hand outstretched with fierce intensity. The glowing emblem on his forehead and the raw energy in his expression make it immediately clear this is a character who operates on a different level than ordinary heroes. Chad Hardin handles the interior art, so the same dynamic sensibility carries throughout the issue.
