The Titans #11

Something is clearly very wrong within the Titans' ranks — the cover to issue #11 (January 2000) teases an all-out clash between teammates, with a golden-armored Cyborg and a green-skinned Beast Boy — the latter in a sleek white-and-red suit — throwing punches at each other while a massive serpentine dragon coils around them both, and a looming blue giant figure dominates the background. Mark Buckingham and Wade von Grawbadger bring real energy to the "Cyborg vs. Beast Boy?!" confrontation, wrapping it in a suitably menacing supernatural threat. Part two of the three-part "Immortal Coil" arc, this one looks like it pushes both characters — and the team's trust in each other — to their limits.
