Written by Jeff McClelland and illustrated by Duane Redhead, this Free Comic Book Day 2016 special features a cover by Duane Redhead.
When a bizarre surge of alternate reality Ticks floods the world at once, reality itself starts to unravel—until the alien menace Thrakkorzog arrives to exploit the chaos. But the sheer, overwhelming number of Ticks proves too much for even him, sending him fleeing in panic. Arthur, caught in the middle, finds himself unexpectedly hailed as the hero who saved the day.
In a delightfully absurd twist, The Tick takes drastic measures to prevent reality from unraveling, dispatching every alternate-reality version of himself out of town on buses. Meanwhile, a private investigator variant of The Tick reflects on the strange chain of events that led him to this world, all while a pineapple named Pineapple Pokopo watches silently from the shadows.
The Tick is the guest of honor at "Tickfest!"—a convention celebrating his bizarre heroics—only to discover it’s a trap orchestrated by the enigmatic Vantage Point. As his friends, including Arthur, the Mona Lisa Gang, and the Bumbling Bee, show up in Tick cosplay to crash the event, their antics unintentionally unnerve the villain into a hasty retreat.
