The Spirit #6
The Spirit investigates a murder at a movie theater during a showing, discovering that a patient suffering from an incurable disease was the victim. A doctor reveals the man had only months to live, making the Spirit suspicious of the circumstances. The investigation then shifts when the Spirit encounters J.F. Grame and his partner, who have been following Bob Sydell, a man Grame's partner loved and was worried about. The Spirit uncovers fingerprints linking Bob Sydell to unsolved murders, leading to a confrontation in which Sydell is revealed as a hired professional killer—though the exact resolution of the case remains unclear from these pages.
