The Spirit #2

The Spirit #2 is an anthology featuring three stories by Will Eisner. "The Case of the Baleful Buddah" follows the mysterious cafe operator Mort Magnum and his "Bucket of Blood," an establishment that attracts a disreputable clientele despite its unprofitable nature. "The A-Gun Cruise of the Contraband Queen" depicts a woman offering girls passage on a cruise ship to exotic clubs, promising marriage to wealthy men like shipping magnate Ellis Murdoch, who then has a child with one of them. "Captain Isotope!" involves a jewel robbery where thieves target Captain Isotope, leading the Spirit to investigate and ultimately solve the case.
