Spider-Man comes crashing through a shattered wall in full pursuit of the armored Beetle, whose menacing teal-and-purple suit dominates the center of the cover, while a frightened blonde woman recoils in the foreground — all of it captured with kinetic energy by Sal Buscema's cover art. Titled "Bugged," this May 1990 issue promises a tense showdown between the wall-crawler and one of his more underrated adversaries. With Gerry Conway scripting and Buscema handling both pencils and inks inside, it's a solid creative team delivering classic Spectacular Spider-Man action.
