The Silencer #9

Part of DC's "New Age of Heroes" initiative, The Silencer #9 brings readers face to face with Wishbone — a horned, glowing-eyed supernatural villain draped in flames and tentacles, cradling an unconscious figure while two more captives slump helplessly at her feet. The cover tagline says it all: "She's magic. She's creepy. She's Wishbone!" — and Viktor Bogdanovic and Jonathan Glapion deliver on every count with a striking, otherworldly composition set against a looming clock face. Dan Abnett continues "Hell-iday Road, Part Two" with Patch Zircher and colorist Mike Spicer rounding out a creative team clearly having a great time putting Honor Guest through hell.
