The Shadow #6
Part 6 of "Shadows & Light" brings the arc to its conclusion, and Bill Sienkiewicz's cover captures the Shadow in full commanding presence — dual pistols crossed, red scarf and dark hat unmistakable — while a ghostly, grinning face looms large overhead and the urban chaos of crime, corruption, and street life swirls through the background. The layered, almost painterly composition feels both cinematic and unsettling, perfectly suited to the "Suggested for Mature Readers" label this 1988 DC series earned. Andy Helfer and Sienkiewicz have crafted something genuinely distinctive with this run, and this closing chapter looks like a fitting payoff.
