Dynamite's The Shadow #15 brings the pulp avenger front and center in a striking Alex Ross cover that captures the masked crimefighter tumbling forward, twin pistols in hand, his black cloak and signature red scarf vivid against a charged, streak-filled background — while a luminous white-clad figure radiates brilliant energy in the distance behind him. The tension between darkness and blazing light makes for a genuinely arresting image, and with Chris Roberson writing and Giovanni Timpano on interior art, the issue delivers that same moody, hard-edged atmosphere the series does so well.
