The Sensational Spider-Man #11

Part 2 of the sweeping "Revelations" crossover arrives in this December 1996 installment, promising answers with the teaser "The Secret of Gaunt!" The cover by Mike Wieringo and Richard Case is a firestorm of action — Spider-Man battles the sleek, shark-finned figure of Gaunt amid roaring flames, while a massive armored robot looms at the left and a handful of desperate civilians scramble for safety below. Writer Todd DeZago and artist Mike Wieringo were clearly building toward something big here, and this chapter looks like the tension is running very hot indeed.
