The Sensational She-Hulk #33
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThere's something wonderfully absurd about this 1991 Marvel cover: She-Hulk stands in a frilly white wedding dress and flower crown, bouquet in hand, looking deeply unamused — and the punchline is right there in her speech bubble: "What a revolting development this is!" Beside her, a grinning Mole Man in full green regalia leans on his staff, apparently quite pleased with the arrangement, while a crowd of subterranean creatures and bewildered onlookers fill the background. John Byrne pencils and inks the whole scene with a perfectly deadpan comic touch that makes "Mole & Wife" one of the more memorably silly cover concepts the series had to offer.
