“Acts of Peevishness”

Part 4 of "The Cosmic Squish Principle" finds She-Hulk in the middle of absolute chaos — a snarling, spike-armored bruiser lunges at her from the foreground while a blue acrobatic figure hurling discs, a smiley-face-emblazoned hero, and a combat-ready soldier swarm the skies behind her, all against a city skyline crackling with yellow energy. Down front, She-Hulk clutches a very distressed anthropomorphic duck who can only manage "WAAAUGH!" as she demands he "SPEAK ENGLISH, DUCK!" — a delightfully absurd snapshot of the series' signature blend of action and comedy. Dale Keown and Joe Rubinstein deliver a wonderfully kinetic cover that makes this 1990 Marvel issue genuinely hard to put back on the shelf.
