Captain Comet breaks into the base of the Secret Society of Super-Villains only to find it deserted. The S.S.O.S.V view his frustration via still-operating surveillance equipment. Suspecting treachery on the part of The Trickster, Kid Flash checks out the home of one of the Trickster's henchmen. While fighting him and his men, Kid Flash is surprised by the S.S.O.S.V as well. The S.S.O.S.V escapes with the loot only to be tracked down later at their new headquarters by Kid Flash and Captain Comet.
