The Schlub #3

The third chapter of Image's The Schlub arrives with a cover that makes an immediate impression: a massive, shadowy creature with a gaping maw full of jagged teeth dominates the left side of the image, bearing down on a chaotic crowd of panicked figures while toys and debris scatter through the air. Two costumed characters — one in blue and white, one in a caped outfit — scramble to react as the mayhem unfolds around them. Tyrell Cannon's linework sells the sheer scale of the threat beautifully, and Mike Spicer's colors give the monster a brooding, almost iridescent menace against the lighter chaos surrounding it.
