The Savage Strength of Starstorm #4

Three figures — a massive grey-skinned brute, an armored hero in a red-and-white suit with a glowing chest emblem, and a woman in purple body armor — stand together above their own mirror-image reflections, the whole composition split along a shimmering horizon line that gives the cover an eerie, dimension-bending quality. Drew Craig's linework plays beautifully with symmetry here, and colorist Jason Finestone's radiating bands of warm and cool tones above and below that divide make the whole thing feel like two worlds pressing against each other. Issue #4 of The Savage Strength of Starstorm arrives with a cover that perfectly teases a story subtitled "Into the Xth Dimension or 'The Doors of Mirrored Perceptions'" — and this Image series is clearly not afraid to go somewhere strange.
