Tanya Anderssen tracks down Warren Worthington III with a shocking revelation: her lost love, Karl Lykos, is alive in the Savage Land. With Jameson demanding a scoop, Peter Parker joins the expedition, unaware of the danger awaiting them. Once in the jungle, Spider-Man and Angel are captured by the Mutates and brought before the enigmatic Brainchild.
